The Anti-Terrorism Council's designation of the National Democratic Front as a terrorist organization is an attempt to "overturn" achievements reached through previous negotiations, the Communist Party of the Philippines said Monday.

The Philippines on Monday reported 5,651 new coronavirus cases, pushing its total to 1,513,396.

The official figures as of July 18 mean some 6.73% of the government's target, or 4,708,073 Filipinos have completed their two doses.
