Placekicker Brett Lauther connected on all five field-goal attempts as the Riders defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 23-10 on Saturday.

The man also faces charges in connection to three recent cases involving "suspicious behaviour of an unknown male around children," according to the Regina Police Service.

Long-term offender Steven Ewanchuk unsuccessfully argued he was unlawfully deprived of liberty during stay at a Regina halfway house.
